Who we are
ReplicaArmor (“we”, “us”) operates replicaarmor.com, an online store selling replica and prop armor. The shop is run by Dingzhou Hezhouyuan Arts & Crafts Co., Ltd., a manufacturer based in Dongban Village, Pangcun Town, Dingzhou, Baoding, Hebei Province, China, with 25 years of experience in historical armor, antique-style crafts and film & television props. You can reach us at [email protected].
Information we collect
When you browse the shop we collect standard technical data (IP address, browser type, device type) via cookies described in our cookie policy. When you place an order or create an account we collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and order details. For custom orders we also collect the brief you send us: measurements, reference photos, sketches and messages. If you contact us by email, we keep that correspondence.
How we use your information
- Processing payments and orders, and delivering purchased items.
- Coordinating custom production with the workshop that fulfils your commission (we share only what that production needs, such as your measurements and references).
- Customer service, including custom-order progress updates and pre-dispatch review.
- Keeping records required by accounting and tax law.
- Maintaining and improving the shop, using aggregated statistics.
- Sending marketing messages only where you have consented; you can withdraw consent at any time.
Legal bases (where GDPR applies)
We process your data to perform our contract with you (orders, custom commissions), where we have a legitimate interest (shop security and improvement), where you have consented (marketing), or where we are legally obliged (tax and accounting records).
Sharing your information
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with: the workshop fulfilling your order or custom commission; payment processors (who handle your card data directly — we never store card numbers); shipping carriers; our hosting and email providers; and authorities where the law requires it.
International transfers
Our operations are based in China, so your information may be transferred to and processed in China and other countries involved in production and shipping. We apply appropriate safeguards and only transfer what the purpose requires.
How long we keep information
Order and accounting records are kept for the period required by tax law (up to seven years). Custom-order briefs are kept during production and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of warranty questions. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it. You can request deletion at any time at [email protected].
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to receive a copy of your data (portability), and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK and believe we have mishandled your data, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The shop is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
