About us
ReplicaArmor is the English storefront of Dingzhou Hezhouyuan Arts & Crafts Co., Ltd. — a manufacturer with 25 years of experience in historical armor, antique-style crafts and film & television props.
Who we are
Dingzhou Hezhouyuan Arts & Crafts Co., Ltd. (定州市河周缘工艺品有限公司) is located in Dongban Village, Pangcun Town, Dingzhou, Baoding, Hebei Province, China. With 25 years of industry experience, we specialize in the manufacture and customization of antique-style crafts, historical armor, and film and television props — from Chinese armor to European knight armor, and from historical designs to screen productions.
What we make
- Japanese samurai armor — full-size wearable sets and individual components in tosei gusoku, o-yoroi and do-maru styles: do cuirasses, sode shoulder guards, kote armored sleeves, haidate thigh guards and suneate shin guards. Colors, lacing and finish are agreed per project.
- European historical-style armor — knightly plate suits, breastplates, shoulder and arm armor, gauntlets, leg armor, sabatons, mail and brigantines, including Gothic, Italian, Maximilian and transitional styles.
- Chinese historical-style armor — complete sets and pieces inspired by Han, Tang, Song, Ming and Qing designs, from a single skirt of lamellar plates to full general’s armor.
- Helmets, face armor and neck protection — kabuto, jingasa, menpo and somen; great helms, armets, sallets, barbutes, bascinets, kettle helms and morions; and Chinese-style helmets and face armor.
- Weapon replicas — Chinese traditional weapons (sabers, spears, halberds, dadao broadswords, the “eighteen weapons”), Japanese sword replicas, European swords and sabers, polearms, axes and maces for collections, displays and productions.
- Shields — round, kite, heater and pavise shields, and Chinese-style shields with coordinated emblems and finishes.
- Film & television props and stage costume — lightweight foam and resin props, character masks, crowns and headpieces, non-firing screen-prop replicas, under-armor garments and historically inspired robes.
- Display, storage and transport — armor stands, helmet stands, wall mounts, transport cases, dust bags and garment covers.
- Parts and care — straps, buckles, rivets, lacing, helmet liners, crests, scabbards, belts and cleaning accessories.
Custom production from your references
Customers can choose from existing designs or provide photographs, drawings, measurements and project references. We then assess production options, material choices, accompanying components and delivery arrangements together. Our product is not only how an individual piece looks, but how it comes together within a complete costume, exhibition space or screen production.
Who we work with
Private collectors, film and television production teams, costume and prop departments, stage-performance teams, cultural exhibition organizations, historically themed venues and trade customers. Collections prioritize overall design and detail; costume projects focus on fit and coordination; screen productions also consider how items appear on camera, character distinction, quantities and delivery schedules.
Cross-border experience
We have worked on multiple occasions with film- and television-related customers in Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States, and welcome new collaboration inquiries from customers in China and overseas.
Our approach
Respect the reference. Attend to the details. Serve the project. From a complete armor set to a single face mask, we use clear communication to define materials, dimensions, appearance and accompanying parts before production — and review the finished piece with you before dispatch.
